Join us for an unforgettable journey across the legendary Făgăraș Mountains, often called the Transylvanian Alps. Over five days, we’ll traverse dramatic ridgelines, summit Romania’s highest peaks, camp beneath the stars, and experience some of the finest mountain scenery in Eastern Europe.
This challenging backpacking expedition is designed for experienced hikers looking for a true wilderness adventure in the heart of the Carpathians.

Trip Schedule
Day 1
Meet the group and begin the ascent into the Făgăraș Mountains. Reach the main ridge and camp in a spectacular alpine location.
Day 2
Traverse the famous Custura Sărății ridge and summit Negoiu Peak (2,535m), Romania’s second-highest mountain.
Day 3
Continue along the main ridge, crossing above the famous Transfăgărășan road and enjoying panoramic mountain views.
Day 4
Summit Viștea Mare and Moldoveanu Peak (2,544m), the highest point in Romania, before reaching our final mountain camp.
Day 5
Complete the ridge traverse and descend towards Breaza, where the adventure comes to an end.
